AI Builder / Data Engineer

We are seeking a motivated AI Builder / Data Engineer who is excited to apply modern AI, automation, and data technologies to solve real business challenges. Working directly with the Director of Information Technology, you will help design, develop, and support data-driven applications, AI-powered tools, business automations, and analytics platforms that improve efficiency across dealership operations.

Pay

• $31.25 to $40.87 per hour, depending on experience.
• Full time, onsite at the Kelso corporate office.

What You Will Do

• Build AI-powered tools, applications, and automations that solve business problems.
• Work with dealership data from databases, APIs, CRM, DMS, and other business systems.
• Develop data pipelines, integrations, and reporting solutions.
• Create dashboards, analytics, and operational insights for business users.
• Build and support AI agents, workflows, and business process automations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn ideas into practical solutions.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend improvements.

Some Technologies You Will Work With

• Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Azure services and cloud platforms
• Python and PowerShell, other scripting languages
• APIs and integrations
• Internal and commercial LLM platforms
• Workflow automation tools and business intelligence solutions

Who We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Education or experience in a related technical field preferred, not required.
• Strong interest in AI, software development, automation, and data engineering.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or another modern programming language.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and desire to learn.
• Self-motivated individual who enjoys building solutions and continuously improving processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
